Location: Fort Worth, TX

Duration: 6 months

The Engineer/Analyst will provide technical support to the customer, Lockheed Martin (LM) F-35 Sustainment organization. This will entail data collection, data analysis, some data modeling and simulation, working with large data sets and databases, and generating summary statistics. The Engineer will often need to support preparation of reports and presentations of technical data and related information. The Engineer will also often participate and support LM customers in meetings with F-35 Joint Program Office government customers.

The Engineer will develop new and/or integrate existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models and simulate real-time operations and develops software that simulates behavior of systems. The Engineer will develop, integrate and use advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools. The employee will also be responsible for modeling operational environments, performing trade studies, performing operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis, and recommending alternative architectures.

The employee should be able to demonstrate the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks, and provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be able to apply Monte Carlo simulation and data mining.
2 Years with Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; 0 Years with Master’s degree in a STEM field.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and simulation and modeling tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with VBA Excel macros, GUI and S/W development, SQL and Access
