Project Specialist II
Madison, AL

We’re looking for a highly-skilled and motivated individual to join our company. You’ll need a strong understanding of how to coordinate and provide technical recommendations for planning, organizing, controlling, integrating, and completing projects preferably for control systems such as industrial control systems (ICS), energy control systems, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. You’ll provide technical support in organizational assessments, process involvement, staffing analysis, risk analysis, acquisition management, program integration, and configuration/data management.

• Provide effective assessment and resolution of critical project issues
• Manage project requirements and development
• Assist developing technical approaches and methodologies to render successful project results
• Write and disseminate work plans, project documents, including procedures, control system test results, and system progress reports
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate system processes
• Coordinate project activities and collaborate with team members
• Develop measurable project goals, objectives and monitor progress toward achievement
• Conduct data analysis, create reports and spreadsheets on project needs and program deliverables
• Develop and deliver informative, well-organized presentations, status reports and system progress updates
• Track program benchmarks and make recommendations for change
• Prepare miscellaneous proposals, plans, and reports to meet project deliverable requirements

• Have an understanding of ICS, SCADA, and/or other types of control systems technologies, software, and hardware
• Highly detail oriented and analytic thinker
• Proficient problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite of applications
• Motivated self-starter and independent worker
• Knowledge of cybersecurity
• Experience with MS Project

Education and Experience:
• 10 years of experience in related field
• Bachelor of Science degree in related field strongly preferred
