Overview:

• As a Senior Systems Safety Engineer, you will help design and develop mission systems products covering all spectrum bands, across multiple airborne and ground platforms.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Writes, reviews and approves safety documents in accordance with ARP-4754A, ARP-4761 or MIL-STD-882 including FHA, PSSA, SSA, Development of Hazard and Fault Tree Analyses


• Completing MIL-STD-882E System Safety hazard analyses, clearly documenting all results for formal report delivery to the customer

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline


• Knowledge of MIL-STD-882E (DoD System Safety Standard Practice) and SAE ARP 4761 (Civil Aviation Safety Assessment Guidelines / Methods)


• Prior experience applying MIL-STD-882E and/or SAE ARP 4761 System Safety assessment techniques in the design of safety-critical products, preferably for military end-users.
