Administrative Assistant

PDS is seeking an Administrative Assistant in Orangeburg, SC
This position reports to the site Finance Manager. 

In this role you would be performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties for the front office; including but not limited to the creation and editing of documents, meeting minutes, memos, reports, presentations, and coordinating meeting arrangements. 

Other duties and responsibilities would include:

  • Coordinates and arranges various meetings including external, internal, telephone conferencing, and video conferencing. Project meeting scheduling will also be required. 
  • Prepares a variety of memos, reports, and graphic presentations.
  • Interfaces and communicates with all levels of employees within the organization.
  • Assist in taking project meeting notes and publishing them.                                    
  • Performs numerous clerical functions including creating and editing documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Utilizes personal computers and PC-related software in performance of assigned duties.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years as executive secretary or administrative assistant.  
  • Proficiency on personal computer and mastery of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint).   
  • Ability to perform detailed work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to work in a production environment and travel throughout the facilities and corporation to obtain information needed to perform job functions
