Summary:
Perform SMT component rework and modifications per Engineering Change Orders.
Inspect assemblies to meet IPC-A-610 quality standards; identify common soldering and component defects, flux issues, and PCB cleaning needs.
Modify and repair products based on BOMs, Engineering Change Orders, and process work orders to ensure 100% accuracy and functionality.
Remove and replace PTH and SMT components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, diodes, ICs, transistors, connectors, LEDs).
Follow standard documentation, using diagrams, photos, and instructions to rework products per specifications.
Ensure quality and accurate workmanship; address deviations as necessary.
Basic Microsoft Office skills required (Word, Excel, Access).
Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
Required Skills:
Experience with fine-pitch SMT components (lead width < 50 mil).
Strong understanding of component removal/replacement and defect identification.
