Summary:
Interpret and work from mechanical schematics and engineered drawings.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing, vendors, and customer representatives during definition, buildup, testing, and acceptance operations.
Perform functional checks and operational testing of mechanical systems and ground support equipment, including operation and maintenance of associated equipment.
Analyze test documents to identify facility issues and develop corrective actions.
Recommend and implement improvements to equipment, sub-assemblies, test processes, and integration procedures.
Follow engineering drawings, schematics, work orders, technical documents, and formal instructions.
Safely perform duties in potentially hazardous environments while adhering to safety protocols.
Demonstrate strong technical skills and the ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience operating non-automated stand-alone equipment.
Mechanical Expertise.
Blueprint Reading.
Mechanic/Technician Experienc.
Mechanical Aptitude.
Desired Skills:
Completion of a Mechanics Trade School.
Prior military mechanic experience.
Experience with aircraft hydraulics and mechanics.
Familiarity with large industrial hydraulic power supplies and distribution systems.
