Lavatory Modules Engineer

Description:
Provide technical oversight of Lavatory Module vendor(s) to ensure delivery of integrated engineering solutions meeting technical, weight, program, and schedule and cost targets.
• Minimum 7 years' experience within the aviation industry with at least 5 years' experience in Airbus aircraft cabin engineering
• Must have demonstrable experience in the Airbus Fulfil Customer Order (FCO) process and be conversant of the Airbus Customization Engineering Process including ' DE.PA.02.03 Define Customized Modules Design'
• Must be familiar with the design of Lavatory Module components and have an understanding of their associated certification and qualification requirements.
• Must have the ability to be self-directed and work in diverse teams
• Experience with Lavatory Modules viewed as an advantage.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are needed, with ability to plan and hold effective meetings. Experience working in international teams is an asset.
• CAD design experience with Catia V5.
• Must have strong competence in the use of the following Airbus Toolsets ICC, PASSV2, ZAMIZ, VPM, TreND, System View, & SAP.
• Must have experience in vendor technical management of cabin suppliers including development of Airbus Engineering Work Orders & review of vendor qualification documents.
• Must have strong capability in MS Office Products and have the ability to learn new tool sets as required.
Education / Special Qualifications: MUST HAVE - Bachelor's degree (B.S) from a four year college or university in engineering
