Job Summary:

Provides basic, entry level quality support to Manufacturing Technicians, Value Stream Leaders and Engineers in areas such as data collection, monitoring, corrective action and quality improvement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Quality Auditing: Quality Management System; Product Audits /Process Audits; facilitate Corrective actions
• Maintain Plant Quality metrics and Dashboard and participate in Plant Quality Reviews
• Monitor and review CTQ / SPC/Error Proofing Controls at every level
• Assist RCA and implement Corrective Actions and gauge control (calibration, specify, acquire)
• Data collection/analysis/improvement projects (Green Belt level projects)
• Assist with the control/monitoring/changes to the Manufacturing Execution System to achieve effective Quality controls/monitoring and improvement
• Assist with training the plant associates in the QMS and TQM principles
• Review and Report Supplier Quality issues, review/manage/escalate Supplier RCA/Corrective Actions

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED required; Associates degree in Manufacturing, Quality, Statistics, Engineering or Business preferred
• 7+ years’ of manufacturing HR experience (prefer at the HRM level) and that can help with some of the higher-level items at the plant
• Ideal is bi-lingual, ADP experience and union experience
• Chart, Control Plan, MSA, Capability Analysis experience
• Process Control (SPC, Error Proofing, Monitoring, and Process Improvement) experience
• Support Problem Solving (A3, 8D, and Management by Facts) experience
• Auditing (execution, reporting, corrective action) experience
• Quality Management Systems experience
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Experience in manufacturing quality role
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Knowledge of spreadsheet or database software experience preferred
