Regional Sales Manager

Description:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) oversees the relationship between StandardAero Business Aviation and its customers, both in sales and customer relations. The RSM will be expected to travel in region generate prospects, formulate work scopes, and finalize the sale of airframe maintenance, repairs, and/or modifications on StandardAero target aircraft.

• Conduct regional sales calls through visits, correspondence, telephone, and email
• Monitors/manages sales/market conditions within assigned sales territory
• Maintains relationship with regional Business Aviation organizations
• Develops/maintains a relationship with aviation OEMs, suppliers, brokers, and vendors to increase knowledge of aircraft maintenance and repairs
• Will be required to work closely with the Avionics Engine and Modification Sales Managers to develop proposals and project schedules
• Manages agents and service Center relationships.
• Maintains interaction with the Quoting Department to accurately develop airframe proposals
• Expands sales within assigned territory with particular focus on Airframe business
• Manages territory and pipeline data in Salesforce.com
• Manages expenses within the budget
• Travels extensively to meet sales and quota goals, 50-75%
• Performs other duties as required by the Sales Director
Position Requirements • Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of five years aviation (MRO) sales
• Must be bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing
• Ability to travel on short notice, up to 75%
• Corporate Aviation experience required
• Strong industry contacts in business aviation preferred
• Strong relationships in Mexico Business Aviation market needed
• Airframe technical background preferred, with emphasis on one or more of the following required: Dassault Falcon Jet, Embraer Legacy, Bombardier Global Express, or Challenger
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Assertive, possesses high energy, and is self-motivated
• Proficient in computer applications: MSWord, Excel, SFDC Ideal
• Position resides in Untitled States and manages Mexico and Central American market
• A&P or Pilot Certificate ideal or other industry certification preferred
