Workday HRIS Analyst

Description:

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Lead Workday projects including application testing, implementation, enhancements / upgrades, new functionality investigation and deployment.
* Conducts system and process analysis throughout product lifecycle and for on-going support and scalability of Workday HCM and secondary integrations. Work with HR and Technology teams to lead Workday HCM system projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement packages, and process redesign.
* Troubleshoot adverse changes made by application enhancements, and updates.
* Lead change management activities that include approvals by senior leaders and engaging key stakeholders on changes.
* Proactively creates and update documents regarding processes, workflows and related system activities.
* Design, configure, document, and maintain complex reports using Workday, Workday Studio, and Excel.
* Create and manage dashboards, reports, and scorecards that deliver data analysis to leaders for talent related decision making.
* Provide all technical configuration of Workday organizations, business processes, and activities (open Enrollment, annual merit, bonus plans/annual bonus process, creation of integrations, talent management, talent acquisition and time off/leave plans).
* Develop, create and maintain training materials and training programs associated with Workday and other HR systems.
* Deliver training programs and serve as the primary help desk support for all HR system users.
* Manage the internal Workday Community Manager support process.
* Manage Workday Customer Support to ensure trouble tickets are properly logged, worked, and technical changes are documented, implemented, and tested in a timely manner.
* Perform routine audits for system data validation/integrity and work with key stakeholders to make necessary changes.
* Manage confidentiality of data by following established security/confidentiality standards.
* Manage all system security protocols for users to ensure the highest level of security is maintained.
* Work special projects as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
* Minimum 3-5 years’ of HRIS experience required with a minimum 1-2 years’ experience with Workday.
* Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
* Must possess a strong understanding of HR processes and data; previous experience in an HR role is a considerable asset.
* Demonstrates excellent customer service attitude with internal and external customers.
* Knowledge of and experience supporting HRIS modules such as: Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Employee/Manager Self-Service, Security, Integrations and/or Report Writing.
* Proficiency using business software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Ability to maintain focus and produce project deliverables per established deadlines.
* Must have demonstrated discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information.
* Easily adapts and adjusts to change and is a quick learner with technology aptitude.Must be flexible to ensure that user needs are supported when required.
* Minimal travel required.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Knowledge of and experience using online timekeeping systems (i.e. Workforce) is a plus.

* Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk working and/or attending meetings with periodic breaks.
* Must be able to move throughout the office and/or manufacturing area and talk, hear or otherwise communicate with employees, management, customers, suppliers and others.
* May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
* Must be a demonstrated self-starter.
* Demonstrates strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.
