Test & Integration Engineer

Description:
PGS Worldwide is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to support the Antares Spacelift Program. The Antares Program launches spacelift vehicles out of Wallops, VA delivering supplies and scientific equipment to the Space Station. The Integration & Test Engineer will manage assembly, integration, and test of space launch vehicle flight hardware at the Wallops launch site. This is an initial six month contract opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified applicants.

Specific duties:

1) Hands-on mechanical integration of flight hardware

2) Developing/maintaining processes and procedures for vehicle assembly,

3) Designing and developing tooling to aid in the integration and test process

4) Documenting and pursuing root cause of discrepancies found with hardware.

Requirements:

1) Bachelors Degree (BS) in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering

2) Six years of mechanical hands-on integration & test or related experience is required

3) Familiarity/experience with liquid rocket engines and/or with the Antares vehicle is desired

4) US Citizenship

5) Travel availability 5%
