Aerospace Simulations System Engineer

Description:
*This is a 6 month contract position located in Orlando*



We are hiring a contract an Aerospace System Engineer with particular skills in integrating simulation software into military vehicles. Besides the normal duties of system engineering (maintaining and creating timelines/milestones, cost and schedule creation, requirements development, decomposition, derivation and allocation, integration expertise, working with IPT/SEIT, integration teams, technical planning, system verification/validation), candidate will need to be well versed in simulation software integration specifically, with software such as WARSIM, JSAF, EPIC, P3D, Titan Vanguard.



A good amount of the work will involve simulation training and simulation domain including Joint, Live, Virtual & Constructive (JLVC) training systems architecture, simulation interoperability architecture such as Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA), and simulated terrain and entity model generation tools.



Required:
*5 years’ experience in Simulation System Engineering, integration, V&V, simulation training, etc.
*Basic requirements development (DOORS), verifying HW&SW, and V&V
*Support software implementation through requirement and model interpretation and maintenance
*Experience in Systems Engineering Integration Teams (SEIT); software implementations; Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) methodologies
*Specific simulation training experience with Joint, Live, Virtual & Constructive (JLVC) training systems architecture, Training Enabling Architecture (TENA), Collective training knowledge
*Experience leading a team.
*Able to travel internationally about 25% of the time and able to work 2nd shifts as needed.
*Able to apply and gain a Secret Clearance upon starting; US Citizens only please



Pluses:
*Simulation applications (two or more of the following) WARSIM, JSAF, EPIC, P3D, Titan Vanguard
* Real-time platform wargaming IEEE standards such as High-Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS)
* Military tactical data link networks such as LINK11 and/or LINK16
* Simulation interoperability architecture such as Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA)
* Simulated terrain and entity model generation tools and processes
