Spaceline MX Scheduler

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Spaceline MX Scheduler for an opening in Las Cruces, NM.

This position is responsible for successfully developing program work schedules for multiple scenarios across multiple assets. This position coordinates with vehicle maintenance, supply chain, engineering, GSE, facilities, and flight operations to properly build schedules that lead to on-time flight operations while allowing the efficient completion of scheduled maintenance work activities. The Tech Ops Scheduler is expected to apply professional technical expertise and guidance to help resolve complex problems.
" Receive planned work package information from the Spaceline Maintenance Planners and develop applicable daily/weekly goals and milestones to drive efficient work execution on the SFS.
" Load, maintain and track maintenance requirements per OEM inspection programs, ADs/SBs/SILs and existing maintenance programs.
" Source, schedule and plan off-site and 3rd party maintenance vendors.
" Define, review & update the scope and task relationships of maintenance work packages.
" Determine schedule & plan available resources for maintenance work packages.
" Plan, track and update labor requirements/availability for maintenance work packages.
" Integrate and maintain flight operations schedule in MRO Software.
" Work with Spaceline Maintenance Controllers as required to ensure near-term work activities are directly complementing flight milestones
" Assist in the development of the maintenance planning program processes.
" Assist the development and implementation of the Spaceline Tech Ops business processes, KPI's and workflows.
" Assist in the development and implementation of the MRO software program.
" Assist in the development of the standard operating procedures.
" Performs other duties as assigned.

Candidate must have MS Project experience. Candidate’s experience must be aligned to production quality management and cost accounting rather than detail task scheduling.
Must have 3 years' experience in scheduling complex work activities in a technical environment.
Must have knowledge of computers and software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
Must have excellent Microsoft Project skills.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be willing to work flexible hours and work any shift, including weekends and be on call.
Must be willing to relocate permanently to vicinity of Spaceport America in New Mexico.
Must have experience with taking all the ER packages and placing them to the applicable group (external clients, facilities, engineering, maintenance team).
Able to identify critical path items, address important dates (such as flight dates or product delivery).
Put everything into a top-level schedule.

" Bachelor's Degree in Technical field preferred
" FAA A&P License preferred
" Aerospace maintenance scheduling experience preferred
" Project Management experience preferred
" Experience with MRO software implementation preferred
" Experience with Ultramain MRO Software highly desired
" 3 years of aircraft Line Maintenance experience highly desired.

" Project management experience STRONGLY preferred
" Ideally 3-8 years of experience
" CAPM would be nice (it is a step below having a PMP certification - position will not support a PMP from a comp aspect).

Physical and/or Additional Requirements
" Must be highly organized and able to handle stressful situations
" Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods - 8 hours min.
