Greetings! 804 Technology is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for a 6+ month contract opportunity with a client in Coventry, RI. Job Description:

The Quality Engineer participates in the development, execution, and oversite of products and processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost-effective designs.

Requirements/Skills:

Must have Training or certification as AS9100 auditor and visible on the resume.
Must have Quality Planning and Required Document creation -Six Sigma -Correction Action and continuous improvement -Knowledgeable in quality software, quality systems, supply quality and records.
Must have experience with Metrology/Calibration -Strong understanding of how businesses work; is knowledgeable in current quality practices and makes recommendations regarding future policies and practices.
Must have advanced knowledge of product manufacture and inspection, testing and technology.
In depth knowledge of problem-solving methods and techniques
Knowledge of process management, technical specs, regulatory guidelines, and contractual requirements,
**--Excellent presentation skills -Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions while in compliance with policies and procedures.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
Demonstrates a very advanced level of root-cause analysis
Ability to solve complex problems and assist with the implementation of continuous breakthrough improvements.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or applicable science degree. Master's degree a plus.
9-13 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience with a Master's degree.
