Resolve product design problems in conjunction with technical customer representatives and assist in implementation of resolutions
Prepare, and present conceptual and detail product design reviews
Directs the preparation of accurate and complete manufacturing drawings
Assists in establishing and maintaining valid structural design methodology for component design
Interfaces daily with various departments at various technical and management levels. Provides timely and quality service to both internal and external customers
Provide technical assistance to lower level design engineers and technical direction to the design drafting function
Qualifications / Experience
Requires a 4-year degree in mechanical/civil/aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
Must possess 5 years aerospace component design experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must have excellent working skills in the use of Mechanical Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Requires knowledge of drafting standards and must be skilled in the preparation of good design engineering documentation.
US citizenship required due to U.S. Government/military information access requirements. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to: criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and credit worthiness. This clearance must be maintained during employment.
