Lead Project/Design Engineer

Description:
Seeking a Sr. TCO Engineer in Milwaukee, WI.

Job Description:
As a Senior TCO Engineer, reporting to the FLC Engineering Director, you will lead cross-functional project teams in Mortara to complete design engineering and/or supply chain consolidation projects from planning through implementation. You will also perform mechanical engineering activities related to your projects.

Responsibilities:
o Project Scoping & Planning
o General Project Management (forming project teams, budgeting, assigning & tracking
tasks, identify & mitigating project risks, etc.)
o Update mechanical CAD drawings using Pro-E
o Review of Design Inputs and Outputs
o Evaluating and Applying Regulatory Standards
o Lean and Continuous Improvement Initiatives
o Manage one engineer
o Performs other duties as requested
Requirements:
o 5-10 years of applied project management experience
o Experience as a team lead managing multiple projects and coordinating activities (schedules, resource, budgets, etc.) between multiple project managers, preferred.
o The ability to analyze, modify and create mechanical designs is a plus
o Applied experience with Microsoft Project as well as other Office Suite applications
o Prior SAP experience preferred (including DIRs, BOMs, MMDS, and Engineering Changes)
o Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations.
o Well-versed in Medical Device Design Controls.
o Strong communication skills and attention to details
o Ability to lead and coach other team members in the spirit of cross functionality
Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Engineering\
Schedule:
Must be available to work any shift.
