Flight Operations Training Support Group Lead

Description:
The “Flight Operations Training Support” Global Lead is responsible to coordinate and integrate all processes, requirements and customer requests related to flight operations training (pilots, flight attendants, and flight dispatchers) in order to ensure high levels of readiness of customer’s personnel for the program entry into service. Such scope of work consists of the following activities:
 
l  To coordinate and integrate all stakeholders responsible for each portion of the flight operations training system (pilots, flight attendants, and flight dispatchers) development process, including, but not limited to:
 
Ø  Flight Operations Training;
Ø  Training Provider;
Ø  Aviation Authorities;
Ø  Flight Operations Engineering and Pilots;
Ø  Flight Operations Publications;
Ø  Suppliers Contracts Management;
Ø  Customers Contracts Management;
Ø  Certification / Operational Evaluation;
Ø  Program management.
 
l  To ensure that the flight operations training system (pilots, flight attendants, and flight dispatchers) is timely developed (in accordance to the program Master Phase Plan) to achieve a robust program entry into service, with high levels of readiness and robustness for the following scope (but not limited to):
 
Ø  Training Needs Analysis (TNA);
Ø  Training Program and Syllabi;
Ø  Courseware (presentations, training manuals, CBT, etc.);
Ø  Human Resources (GSI, SFI, TRE, etc.);
Ø  Training Devices (FFS, CPT, etc.);
Ø  Training Infrastructure (classrooms, briefing/debriefing rooms, etc.).
 
l  To ensure that the flight operations training system (pilots, flight attendants, and flight dispatchers) is timely approved/ certified by the pertinent aviation authorities for the program entry into service.
 
l  To ensure that customers personnel are timely trained for a smooth program entry into service, with high levels of availability for the following training resources (but not limited to):
 
Ø  Training Devices (FFS, CPT, etc.);
Ø  Human Resources (GSI, SFI, TRE, etc.);
Ø  Courseware (presentations, training manuals, CBT, etc.);
Ø  Training Infrastructure (classrooms, briefing/debriefing rooms, etc.).
 
 
The primary work location will be Nagoya, Japan. Multiple domestic and international trips will be required.
 

Expected Education / Experience:
 
l  Requirements:
 
-      Working experience in commercial aerospace for an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM);
-      10 or more years of experience related to Flight Operations Training, including development and delivery processes;
-      Good communication skills with airline customers, training providers, suppliers, and aviation authorities.
 
l  Preferred:
 
-      Knowledge in aircraft development and certification processes;
-      Working experience in the aviation customer support industry;
-      Working experience on suppliers/ providers negotiation;
-      Working experience on aviation training centers operation;
-      Working experience on aviation training providers management;
-      Ability to coordinate with various kind of in/out-company stakeholders;
-      Communication and negotiation skill;
-      Team management skill.
