2nd Shift Welder

Description:
Job Title: Welder - Hypersonics

Location: Huntsville, AL

Position Description of Welder:

Our client is seeking a qualified Welder for its hypersonic line of business. The Welder will produce precision pipe and structural weldments from a variety of engineering materials. Must be capable of certifying to AWS and ASTM Section IX standards to include but not limited to GTAW, GMAW and FCAW processes. Candidate must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints and technical instructions and fabricate holding tolerances in accordance with engineering data.

Basic Qualifications of Welder:
Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
Candidates must have at least five (5) years of relevant welding and fabrication experience within the AWS and/or ASTM Section IX welding standards.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience reading and interpreting drawings/documents such as operating instructions, work instructions, and blueprint data.
Candidates must pass the DOT physical to operate company vehicles.
Candidates must be to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Hours of operation are 6:00-4:30 Monday – Thursday with possible overtime.
Trade school experience within the welding curriculum
