Configuration Management Analyst

Windsor Locks, CT
1 Year Contract
Pay Rate: $49.79/Hr

1st Shift

Available for US Persons only with skills in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint. Preferably experienced in DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System).

Responsibilities focus on Engineering Configuration
Management compliant with the requirements of MIL-STD-973, EIA-69 and ISO10007 and drawing requirements of MIL-STD-100 and DOD-D-1000.

Process new drawings, parts lists, specifications, reports for release or record and file. Includes review to ensure the documents have been entered into export tool.

Process red flags, deviations and waivers.

Maintain Engineering Library - filing and archiving.

Work with various IPD Team personnel to develop, finalize, and coordinate engineering changes (drawings, specifications, parts lists) in compliance with Space Systems Windsor Locks engineering procedures and program configuration control plans. This may include scanning, copying, and creating PDF electronic files of documents.

Maintain/create reports for configuration status accounting via engineering database.

Construct engineering parts list in EIS to bridge to JDE (eventually to SAP).

Control Pro/E Model via Creo Windchill or electronic files in Documentum.

Update configuration management metrics and maintenance of CM process visualization board.

Incorporate edits and redlines to Microsoft Word documents and DOORS documents. This includes specifications, procedures, configuration management work instructions, etc., as directed by Configuration Management (CM).

Update CM-controlled Generic Statement of Work (SOW) template and Supplier Data Sheets.

Provide As-Designed reports.

Update standard work.
