Summary:
Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements
Create, maintain, and modify structural and interior payload system designs using 3D CAD tools
Provide product definition to engineering teams, production, suppliers, and customers
Lead performance, integration, and analysis of tests to ensure compliance with requirements
Manage supplier development, testing, and production coordination to meet program goals
Investigate emerging technologies for future product designs
Work under minimal direction in a non-managerial, non-leadership role
Regular and predictable attendance required
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
Typically 9+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent): PhD + 4 years or Master's + 7 years
Rapid problem resolution
CATIA and ENOVIA experience
Factory support and liaison experience
Customer support experience
NCR experience
Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design (including 2D drawings & 3D deliverables)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Desired Skills:
Aircraft design experience
ABET accreditation preferred but not required
