STS Techncial Services is hiring Quality Engineers in Fort Worth, Texas.

Job Summary:
Specific position will prepare and execute First Article Inspection plans and forms in Component Final Finish production area, working under the general direction and oversight of a company badged Quality Engineer and area QA leadership. Actual inspections and recording of results will be performed by represented hourly inspectors. This position may require performing skills gap analysis and training of these inspectors, as well as identification of other gaps in tools or other essential resources to complete the FAI records. As the available work in Component Final Finishes area diminishes, employee may be asked to perform similar tasks in other production areas within the Fort Worth fabrication areas.

Job Duties:
Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy
Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines
Develop, modify, and apply control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
Collaborates with quality, engineering, planning and manufacturing organization's to ensure quality standards are in place
Develop, and implement/or improve current methods and procedures for producing and inspecting precision and accuracy of products and production equipment Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications
Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements
May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, product evaluation and reliability, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality
May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies
Analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications
Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements
