Responsibilities: -Uses hand tools and power tools efficiently. -Maintenance and minor repairs on production machines and robots. -Hazardous Waste removal, compacting, storage, proper labeling, prepare for shipment and truck loading. -Installation of shop air, electric, and lighting to fixtures. -Commercial grade plumbing repairs and installation. -Installation of copper, PVC, iron pipes and electrical conduit. -Cement and asphalt repairs of sidewalks, ramps, and parking lot. -Minor electrical repairs and installation of motors, fans, power poles, and outlets. -Understanding and repair of industrial air compressors and shop air quality. -Understanding of industrial HVAC systems. -Building repairs including doors, rollup doors, walls, and tile. -Read and execute work orders. Basic computer knowledge and use. -Assist other maintenance personnel with maintenance of equipment and utilities for Facility operations. -Coordinate repair requirements with site service contractors. -Must remain familiar with required topics related to federal, state, local regulations and Triumph Group corporate policies.
Qualifications: -High school education or equivalent and 5 years of directly related experience in a manufacturing environment. -Must have experience using hand tools and power tools. -Knowledge of Hazardous Waste removal, compacting, storage, proper labeling, prepare for shipment and truck loading. -Must have a state recognized driver's license. -Must be certified or able to get certified for use of forklift, aerial lift and overhead crane. Trained in proper securing and rigging of cargo for long and short term transport. Desirable but not required experience: -Familiar with computers as used in equipment diagnostics -Familiarity with SAP -Familiar with principles of Preventative Maintenance -Basic PLC understanding
