Inventory Control Clerks - Hawthorne, CA

Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Inventory Control Clerks for open positions in Hawthorne, California.

Job Summary:

Receive, store, and issue standard hardware, raw material, purchase parts, machined details, and assemblies to support manufacturing operations and other areas as required. Take direction from inventory control lead.

Job Duties:

• Receive, package and move a wide variety of parts from Final inspection to support quality operations
• Transact using company computer systems per current procedures
• Perform issuing function when hardware will be leaving MRB and issued to a WO for rework
• Validating issue tickets that are ready to be issued or transacted into Scrap or Engineering locations
• Part marking with an electric engraver, laser part marking machine and manually with Paint markers
• Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with good practice/procedures
• Perform stock checks as required by inventory control and other related departments
• Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantity and revisions
• Perform daily cycle counts
• May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
• Support organization goals/metrics/objectives

Job Knowledge & Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Must be able to use a Computer Proficiently and use Excel, Outlook and Word

Experience Requirements:

• Inventory experience desired
• ERP/MRP experience desired

General Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Job will require lifting, standing, bending, grasping, sitting and carrying to perform the general requirements and functions
