Engineer - Renewable Projects

Description:
Title: Engineer - Renewable Projects
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 1 year contract

Requesting 1 resource to provide the engineering for renewable projects.
The bulk of these projects will be in South, West, Central, Coastal, and East Regions of Georgia.
This position will report to Beth Senkbeil, who works out of our corporate headquarters, so there is flexibility in their work location(s).

Here are some of the requirements for these positions:
• One experienced engineer with project management skills
• Previous distribution and or/electric utility experience desired
• Provide project engineering and design support, as well as project management for two of the positions

Typical Job Duties:
Meet with developers/customers to determine interconnection location.
Engineer work orders to meet the developer’s/customer’s needs.
Take detailed field notes.
Design jobs within Designer / GIS System.
Process Billing Invoices to the developer/customer.
Obtain Regulator and capacitor settings from distribution equipment to aid in system studies.
Project manage the construction aspects of the project to ensure deadlines are met.
Candidate may also be utilized in reviewing applications and providing developers with non-binding estimates (desk top estimates).
Familiarity with company specifications, bulletins, and materials is required.

Travel: The bulk of the projects are in the South, West, Central, Coastal, and East Regions of Georgia. Depending on the candidates reporting location, travel may require overnight stays.
