Technical Support Engineer

Description:
We have an outstanding Contract position for a Technical Support Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Grand Prairie, TX surrounding area.
Job Responsibilities: Work with Technicians on the shop floor to resolve technical product, process, repair, documentation, and electronic recordkeeping system issues
Support inspection teams making decisions on parts. Be able to interpret technical drawings, service bulletins, and understand complex systems to make decisions on non-conformities on parts and their effect on the system
Able to manage change in inspection methods and criteria based off of scrap rate increases, supply chain constraints, and customer repair volume
Understand all micro phases of the MRO process for repairing engines. Work with management to survey standard times and processes to identify improvements that can be made to the process for efficiency, product quality, methods improvement
Manage industrialization of new repairs including creating tooling, machining/assembly/inspection processes, and documentation
Reviewing of new technical publications to add and change any tooling, industrial documentation, quality documentation, implementing and training of new MRO methods
Work with corporate design and industrial engineering teams to on updating processes, implementing new technologies, asset troubleshooting
Lead or participate in internal or customer asset investigations
Be able to provide technical assessment of technicians during their training. Work with management to improve the training processes
Participate or lead continuous improvement projects involving with multiple departments

Basic Hiring Criteria: Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university; two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex drawings and technical documentation
Knowledge and experience using Autocad or equivalent is preferred.
Intermediate Level - Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, PowerBI
Ability to learn and use internal systems such as the ERP and Documentation Control programs
Ability to adapt Mechanical/Technical/Interpersonal skills to the unique requirements of the organization
