Level 2 Help Desk Support

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Level 2 Help Desk Support, in West Palm Beach, FL.

  • Excellent Customer Service skills, including a positive attitude and ability to instill confidence in your customers. Proactive follow-up, effective problem resolution, and end-to-end ownership of the problems is required. Also requires proven ability to learn new systems as required to effectively support customer needs. 
  • Must be team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must work together with team to build and maintain effective single point of contact. 
  • Must be customer centric and aggressive in promoting your customers’ needs and getting them met. 
  • Exhibit quick-response customer support and work with clients over the phone to troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose and engage appropriate technical resources to resolve client issues. 
  • Excellent communication skills are required.

  • Technical skills – because they frequently play a direct role in resolving user issues, service desk technicians need excellent technical and computer skills.
  • Problem-solving skills – service desk analysts are primarily problem-solvers, so they should be able to devise technical and creative solutions to user issues.
  • Communication skills – effective communication is key in this role, since service desk analysts need to gather data about problems, prepare detailed notes and reports, and walk users through the steps they can take to resolve software and hardware issues.
  • Time management – service desk analysts need excellent time management skills and should be able to set priorities when handling multiple cases.
  • Team collaboration – service desk analysts routinely work with other IT personnel to resolve user issues, so they need to successfully collaborate with team members and coworkers.

Microsoft Dynamics:

  • This position is to support the Microsoft Dynamics version of Otis CRM (GSS). Knowledge with Dynamics is a plus.

Education / Experience:

  • Associate Degree in Information Technology or Business required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is plus.
