Quality Assurance Engineer

Description:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Chemistry, Engineering, or Quality Management
Minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience in a quality, engineering, or research role 2 years of which should have been Aerospace-related experience.
Capability of working in a large, complex matrix organization with capacity to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Strong project management, advanced communication, influencing, and negotiation skills combined with team leadership, analytical, and problem-solving acumen.
Familiarity with quality systems including ISO 9001, AS9100 and Root Cause Analysis, and required experience with Quality Tools/Methodologies: FMEA, SPC, control plans, and MSAs.
PDCA, LSS, Continual Improvement experience.
Working knowledge of SAP and statistical analysis software
ASQ certification in Quality, Engineering, and Auditing
LSS Green belt or Black belt certification preferred
Familiarity with FAA standards as they relate to AS910
