Assistant Superintendent

Description:
e are seeking Assistant Superintendents with varies levels of construction experience.
Assistant superintendents will work closely with all members of the project team and will assist with the supervision of all craft employees. They will be responsible for the following:

Essential Responsibilities Include
Assist in the management of day-to-day project activities to meet project schedule and quality objectives
Communicate on a timely basis, project needs to the Superintendent, field team, and subcontractors
Monitor project safety and enforce company standards with all onsite personnel without exception to ensure the project is safe for all workers and visitors
Communicate project activity to Superintendent as well as to subcontractors to ensure performance
Work with local building officials during inspections and re-inspections to obtain project sign-off
Maintain jobsite in a neat and organized manner
Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license
(LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) Required Skills
Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills.
Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Effective participation in team environment.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, and a willingness to learn project management software (Prolog or similar), and scheduling software (Microsoft Project).
A strong work ethic and a 'can-do” attitude.
A strong desire to learn and grow as a manager of field operations, working under the supervision of a superintendent.
