Systems/Components Engineer Parts Decomissioning

Description:
*This is a full time, 15 month contract position located in Fort Worth*



We are looking for a Systems Engineer who will be working in decommissioning F-35 aircraft components, termed Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS).



Duties will include last-time purchases, lifetime buys, and Bill of Material (BOM) monitoring. Candidate will be responsible for inventory management, review and dispositioning of Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs), generating and briefing Business Case Analyses (BCAs) for parts buys, and developing Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). Candidate will be expected to interface with top level management, engineering teams, purchasing, etc.



Required:
*8 years' experience working as an aerospace Systems, Electrical or Components engineer working on DMSMS
*Strong use of the Teamcenter PDM and/or Siemens PLM Software.
*Active Secret Clearance; US Citizens only please
*Knowledge of Mission Systems Integration and total life cycle issues (architecture, requirements, design, analysis, integration, verification, production and sustainment).
*Experience working with Suppliers, conducting Proposal Analysis and Risk and Opportunity Assessments.
