Systems Engineer

Description:
Our client, a global security and aerospace company, is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. Solving complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions to help customers keep people safe and provide them essential services, our client is hiring for the following critical need:

Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Qualification:
• Secret Security Clearance is required at time of hire, with ability to obtain Secret SAR/SAP Clearance to gain access to restricted facilities.
• This position supports a 9/80 A work schedule.
• Pilot or Weapons Systems Operator (WSO) with a minimum of 1,000 hours in fighter aircraft (F-16, F-22, or F-35)
• Deployed within the last 5 years
• Operational fighter jet experience
• Leadership/SME experience
• Solid speaking and writing skills are a must due to frequent and sustained communication with a myriad of contractors and governmental organizations at multiple levels.
• Instructor Pilot or Instructor WSO
• Mix of air-to-air and air-to-ground experience
• Familiarity with operational test (OT), design test (DT), or weapons evaluations
• Experience/education in Human Systems Integration
• Human Factors experience
• USAFWS Fighter WIC Graduate or Navy Top Gun Graduate
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree combined with 9+ years of experience, or a Master’s Degree combined with 7+ years of experience.
