Senior Manufacturing Operations Technician

Senior Manufacturing Operations Technician
(US Citizenship Required*)
Scottsdale, AZ

• Maintain and create work instructions using a variety of software tools.
• Maintain and trouble shoot the shop floor system (Solumina and Eclipse).
• Work well in a Space traceability Environment.
• Seek out opportunities for process improvements and continuous improvement.
• Perform a variety of systems integration equipment and/or process operations involving an application of technical skills.
• Interpret engineering drawings and diagrams.
• Notify appropriate personnel for changes needed to the engineering configuration data base.
• Maintain/revise manufacturing work instructions in electronic instruction and reporting systems.
• Familiar with statistical process controls.
• Assist engineering in the set up manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing system and processes issues to root cause.
• Repair and/or modify manufacturing systems under the direction of senior specialists and/or engineers.
• May perform preventive maintenance functions on manufacturing equipment.
• Implement and document basic practical solutions for process improvement.
• Execute experiments under the direction of an engineer or senior specialist.
• Communicate with internal customers include manufacturing support manager, production personnel, coach, operations manager, engineering.
• Normally works under the guidance of a more senior individual.

• Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance is preferred at time of hire. At minimum must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
• Clear understanding of computer software applications used in a manufacturing environment.
• General problem solving skills.
• General subject matter expertise in assigned area.
• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.
• General computer skills.
*US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent is required combined with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
