7 month contract with possible extensions. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card to qualify.
 Must have Kanban  hands on project experience
1. Kanban
3. Experience as a BA or Release or "outside of managing the board roles.
4. Participate in developing a mature Kanban Scrum environment. 

What does a great Scrum Master do? 

• You will join a team that has been tasked with transforming an existing product using the latest cloud and microservices technologies. 
• You will use your high-level technical understanding of software development and extensive experience to provide effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership and coaching skills to support the teams within our agile development process. 
• As an agile expert, you will be responsible for enforcing the agile tenants as interpreted by our team, removing impediments and promoting empowerment. 
• The position is highly responsible and accountable, and you will challenge the teams to both adopt and improve agile best practices. And at the end of the day, you will be the communication conduit that will provide critical information to our partnering groups and leadership. 

Basic Qualifications for Consideration: 
• Experience executing on Scrum Master responsibilities that include but are not limited to: 

1) Organizing and facilitating daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum/Kanban-related meetings 
2) Managing complicated parallel application development and project implementation processes 
3) Tracking and communicating team velocity and sprint/release progress, maintaining process documentation 
4) Ensuring that development teams are practicing/following core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility 
5) Updating physical and electronic agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product backlogs and in-progress work; supporting Development Managers and Project Managers as necessary 
6) Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and information sharing 
7) Assisting team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition; identifying and removing impediments; preventing distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver on release goals; facilitating discussion and conflict resolution 
8) Empowering the team to self-organize; improve the productivity of the teams; ensure that the team strives to make each increment of functionality potentially releasable code 
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent education in a related discipline is required. Related work experience can be substituted for education requirements.

• Must be a Certified Scrum Master or 3+ years Scrum Master experience

• Ideal candidate will have 8+ years of technology experience

• Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures, including Kanban and Scrum as well as working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is required

• Ability to hold team members accountable, set clear sprint/release performance standards, resolve sprint/release performance issues, keep team engaged and on task and coach them on Agile best practices

• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills, including the ability to communicate status to executive level management

• Experience with teams performing new development for large scale, technically complex projects for a large enterprise while simultaneously supporting production applications is a must

• Experience with negotiating prioritization between Product Owners and Technical Leadership

• Must be highly adaptable to a constantly changing environment, self-motivated, as well as, creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems

• Must be collaborative in driving decisions and able to deal with multiple projects and deadlines

• Excellent results-driven team leadership skills are required.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

Experience working on complex projects involving Java Microservices, PCF, and Web services in an agile environment

• Experience converting legacy applications and using gained knowledge for planning and managing development work load for replacement application

• Solutions Architect experience with good understanding of cloud native apps
