LRU Inspection Engineer

Candidate will investigate and analyze Damage LRU (Line Replaceable Unit)

The study will be focused on analysis of typical and potential handling damage of aerospace components. This analysis will be conducted in the warehouse and staging/ shipping area of our client's field office in Oklahoma City, OK. At the conclusion of this analysis there is a requirement to produce a written report aggregating the data collected and in recommending which components would benefit from robust re-usable packaging.

Key Tasks:

- Engineering analysis and aggregation of data documenting typical handling and shipping damage of F135 LRUs (Line Replaceable Units).

o Documentation of incoming and outgoing repair units.

o Analysis of components in Customer owned HFFR(Hold For Future Repair)

o Communications with F135 Program and Quality Engineer teams

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to report findings

Key Deliverables:

- Written report recommending which LRUs would benefit from robust re-usable packaging.

o Documented analysis of typical handling and shipping damage for F135 LRUs.

o Photographic and written evidence of damage including specific measurements.

o Written report communicating recommendations for more robust packaging.

o Presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint, communicating/ summarizing findings and recommendations.
