Mechanical Design Engineer SECRET CLEARANCE needed UTAH

Description:
Active Secret DoD Clearance within 5 ½ years of last investigation
Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Manufacturing
Experience in working with aerospace specifications and drawings
Experience in the use of ANY CAD systems (NX -preferred)
Experience designing / supporting an aerospace manufacturing process with the necessary materials, tooling, and equipment
Knowledge of root cause / corrective action processes and techniques
Functional knowledge of Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
Functional knowledge of production control systems (SAP/Visual Mfg/etc)
Experience authoring, modifying and auditing procedures
Experience estimating, planning, and streamlining manufacturing processes
Experience using SPC to monitor and improve processes
Experience addressing manufacturing discrepancies through a formal MRB process
Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal direction
Excellent computer skills. Skilled in working with Microsoft Office applications
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Composites hand layup, fiber placement, bonding, cure, assembly, and machining experience
