Systems Engineer - Aircraft Interiors

Description:
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer with aircraft interiors experience to fill an opening for a company here in Renton, WA. Interested candidates should have 10 plus years of experience with aircraft interiors along with advanced knowledge of oxygen, water/waste systems.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Systems Engineer
Work as a team member of the Interior Group, supporting both the Oxygen and Water/Waste Systems.
Evaluate the current aircraft design, with respect to compliance to the Oxygen and Water/Waste Systems related airworthiness regulations of JCAB, FAA and EASA.
Review and design of crew and passenger oxygen systems, potable water and waste water systems.
Conduct Oxygen and Water/Waste Systems Evaluations and support verification activities.
Prepare/review company and certification Test Plans/Reports.
Conducting Tests, witnessing tests and creating test reports.
Coordinate with certification parties such as JCAB, FAA and EASA.
Managing schedule of certification activities with related personnel.
Analyze the results of the tests and relate these to applicable Oxygen and Water/Waste Systems regulations for compliance

Requirements
Relevant Engineering Degree.
10 plus years of experience in the aircraft interiors.
Demonstrated experience as a key focal for Mechanical Systems Engineer
Strong knowledge of and Water/Waste Systems.
Extensive understanding of materials and processes & tool constraints.
Experience participating on a type certification program.
