Position: Machine Operator
Pay Rate: $10.25 - $11.25
Shift: 1st 7am-7pm / 2nd shift 7pm-7am
Location: Cleveland, OH
Description:
I. Position in Organization
Reports to: Department Supervisor
Directly Supervises: None
Indirectly Supervises: None
II. Major Responsibility
Operate multiple swab machines while maintaining a safe work environment and meeting all production and quality standards.
III. Specific Responsibilities
Have thorough knowledge and understanding of the swab machine operating procedures.
Follow all quality procedures and perform all required quality checks.
Follow all department and machine safety rules and procedures.
Keep work area clean by assisting with sweeping of the cell.
Keep scrap and recycle down to a minimum.
Complete all reworks.
Complete all necessary paperwork including, but not limited to, runtime and production output.
Make minor mechanical adjustments to machines.
Follow all procedures for machine cleaning to maintain machine cleanliness.
Complete all special projects and/or assignments as directed by the lead or supervisor.
High School Graduate or GED Equivalency preferred.
VI. Experience
Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
VII. Skills
This position requires constant standing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment needed with a keen attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Adequate English skills as well as basic math skills are required.
