Final Aviation Inspection Technician

Description:
1st & 2nd shift opportunities await the right candidate in Mesa for Aviation Inspector to perform final inspection.

SUMMARY

Inspects mechanical final assembly installations of the aircraft such as fuselage, landing gears, and tail assemblies. Inspects systems such as hydraulic, rotor, oil, heat and engine. Rechecks work after adjustment or repair. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Provides other inspection and quality services to ensure company products and processes meet customer, company, and other specifications by performing the following duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

" Visually and physically inspects materials, components, subassemblies, assemblies, tools, and final product configuration using blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, and orders, and other applicable sources to observe, measure, record conformity to customer, regulatory, and company specifications

" Verifies production and engineering test processes for compliance with process methods and procedures

" Records compliance with quality standards to verify that company products and processes meet customer, company, and other specifications

" Solves inspection problems; methods-procedures, plans, and details

" Audits products and processes to verify system

" Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports



SKILLS AND ABILITIES

" Thorough proficiency with measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and various types of precision measuring equipment.

" Requires a thorough understanding of all pertinent manufacturing, production and engineering test processes.

" Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

" Participation in the FAA Drug Test Program is required.

" The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required

" Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.

" The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.

" Access to Export Control Information.

" Regular attendance at the worksite.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

" This job requires 7 years of aviation production/maintenance titled inspector experience or 10 years aviation production/maintenance related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered
