Description:
Sr. Electrical Engineer to develop and test digital circuit designs.

Development and test of high speed digital circuit board designs (processors, peripherals, back-plane, I/O, etc) requiring the application of electrical engineering principles and techniques. The candidate will work directly with a PCB designer during the schematic capture and layout phases. Excellent teamwork and communication skills required. Also requires knowledge of hardware design processes, signal integrity analysis, manufacturability, testability, and thermal control.

Assignment may also include deriving and allocating circuit board design requirements from higher level system requirements (within a DOORS database) and developing technical specifications.
Assignment may also include integration of product design and formal environmental qualification testing of the product.

REQUIRED:
-Prior experience with high speed digital design (manager needs someone who has DEVELOPED schematics and GUIDED THE LAYOUT of high speed digital circuit boards)
-The ability to obtain a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance (US Citizenship required.

PREFERRED:
-Direct industry experience and knowledge of MIL-STDs (461, 810, etc), DO-160, and DO-254 is preferred.
-Experience with VITA/VPX standards preferred
