What You’ll Do:

Possess necessary computer skills to proficiently handle routine tasks.
May analyze production rates data, review stock records, and prepare purchase orders to determine stock status against production requirements.
Communicate clearly with coworkers, planners, material managers, and internal customers.
Identify material shortages and supports problem solving resolutions.
Document and distribute scrap/ salvage parts.
Help set and work toward team goals.
Coordinate and prioritize individual daily activities.
Support continuous improvement activities.
Actively participate in meetings.
May handle and process classified material.
Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.
May kit daily or weekly assembly picks as required by job function.
 

What You’ll Need:

Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
General knowledge of material planning, control and inventory methodology.
General knowledge of bill of material, manufacturing/test documentation and drawing tree concepts.
General organizational skills.
General communication skills, both verbal and written.
General customer service skills.
General collaboration skills.
General knowledge of the enterprise software and associated data.
Exhibits adaptability and flexibility.
Ability to recognize and meet schedule priorities.
General knowledge of Government / Customer Property Control.
Ability to track, expedite, and pick material shortages to the manufacturing floor.
Ability to complete work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to follow established procedures on routine work, only requiring specific instructions on new assignments.
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

 

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
