What You’ll Do:
• Experienced Electrical Circuit Design Engineer.
• Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products.
• Develop detailed designs of limited scope.
• Conduct various methods of testing and analysis to support design.
• Gather data for technical performance measures and performs basic analysis.
• Provide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
• Conduct trade studies and literature research to support future product designs.
• Work under general supervision.
• Mentor and coach lesser experience engineers providing knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation of engineers.
• Provide engineering and technical decisions for Military Aircraft, Military Derivative Aircraft (B-52, B-1B, B-2, AEW&C, AWACS, and others) and diverse projects.
• Assignments will provide an excellent opportunity to learn aircraft circuit design on the various platforms.
• Assignments may deal with
• Reviewing supplier and partner qualification data.
• Circuit Analysis/Layout/Design/Manufacturing.
• FPGA design/development/integration.
• Perform Trade Studies/Modeling.
• Cross-functional coordination and integration.
• Develop Design Requirements and Plans.
• Provide Engineering Support to Supplier Management Procurement Activities.
• Perform Engineering Investigations and Troubleshooting Efforts.
• Develop and perform Acceptance Test Procedures.
• Test Automation for aircraft modifications.
• Other job responsibilities may include
• Analyze customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.
• Develop high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.
• Validate designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis.
• Identify, track and status technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Support Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services of limited scope.
• Provide engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
• Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

What You’ll Need:
• This position requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance at the time of hire.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree and typically 2+ years of experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification.
