Education and Experience
Requires BS in Engineering & minimum 7 years of digital design experience

Job Summary
Act as Liaison between CDH Digital design group and manufacturing for a variety of ongoing programs which involve one or more avionics box / board designs. May also oversee subsystem / component supplier design, analysis, manufacture, and test. .

Job Responsibilities
1. Coordinate technical and manufacturing activities for CDH and digital avionics board and avionics box through interaction with CDH digital design, manufacturing, quality, and purchasing.
2. Develop, documentation and coordinate engineering / manufacturing activities as required per multiple project timelines.
3. Coordinate the collection and release of technical information between/within the engineering and manufacturing groups.
4. Create / ensure the creation of any necessary documentation, working with engineering and manufacturing, needed to support board / box test send manufacturing operations.
5. Job Knowledge/Technical Skills
a. Experience with the design and development of digital board and box design, testing and manufacturing of the aforementioned digital board and box designs.
b. Familiar with typical documentation and analysis of digital boards and avionics box – schematic bills of materials, test plans, etc.
c. Familiar with typical testing methods and equipment used for digital board functional testing, thermal testing and EMI/EMC testing.
d. Technical expertise and full knowledge of other related disciplines.
