Roles and Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) C-5 Super Galaxy Division located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

The successful candidate will provide C-5 avionics and propulsion systems guidance and be familiar with DoDI 5000.02 and the AFLCMC acquisition process. The candidate will demonstrate experience with system design and integration, familiarity with test plans and programs, and joint interoperability testing and certification. The candidate will have experience as a team lead.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education: A Master’s Degree and fifteen (15) years of engineering experience is required. M.S.in Systems Engineering is preferred. Experience/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Current experience and knowledge of the DoD acquisition processes is desired. Ideal candidate will have systems engineering experience, knowledge of systems engineering principles and C-5 aircraft experience is preferred. Must have the ability to communicate with and distill information from technical resources during formal and informal meetings.

Background in aircraft systems engineering is required. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (Secret).
