Stress Engineer

Description:
Perform structural analysis in support of composite and metallic nacelle components using standard analysis methods and finite element analysis approaches. Conduct design trades and optimizations considering safety, strength, weight, cost and producibility. Generate analysis reports suitable for transmittal to airworthiness authority and customer. Communication of technical issues through written, verbal and presentation media. Must work well in a team environment.Strong background in analysis of aircraft/airframe structures (classical hand analysis and finite element skills); Nacelle stress analysis preferred. NASTRAN/PATRAN and PC/UNIX experience. Good written and verbal communication skills with team oriented mentality. Experience working with multi-discipline and international teams across different time zones a plus.
