Mech Sys Design & Anlys Engr 3

Location: Berkeley, MO
Duration: 6 months

Description:
Develops, maintains, and modifies mechanical instrumentation data system installation designs (flight and lab test data system equipment, sensors and wiring installations), using 3D/2D Computer Aided Engineering tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product life-cycle
Performs, aircraft volume studies, equipment and sensor layouts to validate and verify installation designs meet test and environmental requirements and specifications
Coordinates with Integrated product teams and internal/external suppliers to optimize designs and achieve program goals
Provides Design support to internal/external fabrication and installation centers

Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
