Pay: $40-50/hour, full time, full benefits
Shift: 1st, 4x 10-hour days Monday - Thursday

As a Manufacturing and Industrial Project Engineer you will be onsite in a shop floor manufacturing setting; evaluating and investigating issues related to aerospace products repair and overhaul (MRO).

Job Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and investigate issues related to product repair and overhaul
* Creation and modification of standard work for internal manufacturing and quality processes
* Assist team in tracking, documenting, and dispositioning non-conforming hardware using various
quality tools
* Read and interpret engineering documentation (prints, specs, manuals, etc.)
* Prepare reports and presentations periodically for review with management and stakeholders
* Provide analysis and estimates for new and repeat work encountered
* Determine and help implement corrective action and mistake proofing

Core Qualifications:
* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial)
* Five+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, within a shop floor environment
* Ability to take on projects and work with minimal guidance; working independently or as a member of a team
* Familiarity with special processes (heat treat, plating, grinding)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation (prints, specs, manuals, etc.)
* Legal authorization to work in the US required: Due to the nature of this work, US CITIZENSHIP

Desired but not required skills:
* SAP knowledge
* Lean Six Sigma experience
* External (supplier) auditing experience
* Familiarity with PPAP or PFMEA's
* Familiarity of using statistical analysis (SPC)
