Facility & Security Manager

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Facility & Security Manager, in Filer, ID.


Space and office management: Activities involving management and maintenance of buildings, land, and furniture. Assure proper office supply and equipment. Management of media, meeting rooms, and allocation plans (update, availability, and operations). Removal Management (planning and organizing of office moves). Catering Services: Conference-room services (setting or clearing the tables, responsible for the supply of cold and hot beverages, according to bookings). Operation and cleaning of coffee machines within the office buildings. Postal and Courier Services: Sorting and distribution of postal items. Reception and dealing with parcels. Courier tours within the region. Entrance Services: Activities involving contracting and managing entrance and reception services.
  • Deliver trade-quality results for in-house projects, require trade-quality results from outside contractors 
  • On-call 24-7 for greenhouse alarms, fire alarms, intrusion alarms, have a working understanding of the alarm systems and conditions that may trigger a false alarm 
  • General understanding of greenhouse heating and cooling systems, be able to troubleshoot and repair basic failures using on-site parts inventory 
  • General understanding of electrical systems including electrical theory for 120VAC, 240VAC single-phase, 240VAC 3-phase, 277VAC systems; relay & contactor circuit functions and applications 
  • General understanding of facility water delivery systems, basic plumbing skills, septic tank & leach field operating principles 
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ability to generate ideas for solutions and determine best options 
  • Demonstrated professional, solution-oriented communication skills; able to promote a professional, service-oriented working environment; promote teambuilding & individual task ownership within station team and colleagues 
  • Demonstrated understanding of applied farming cultural practices, soil/plant/water/fertility relationships both infield, and greenhouse environments 
  • Become a key member of the safety committee and uphold safety standards 
  • Work independently and be a team leader, coach and provide guidance to team 
  • Manage multiple operations concurrently 
  • Obtain a general standards pesticide treatment license by the State of Idaho 
  • Troubleshoot and make effective decisions 
  • Be able to operate a forklift 
  • Have computer skills and experience for proficient navigation in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license 
  • Must be able to work outside in a variety of climates and can stand for 4 hours at a time.

  • 1-3 Years of Experience; degree preferred but not required
