Description:
Our client, a global security and aerospace company, is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. Solving complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions to help customers keep people safe and provide them essential services, our client is hiring for the following critical need:

Manufacturing Engineer 4

Responsibilities:
• Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
• Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
• Design sequence of operations; specify procedures to fabricate tool & equipment and for other functions that affect product performance.
• Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• Close coordination and collaboration with the Product Focus Teams, Factory Material Flow, Tool Services, and Facilities in developing and implementing production readiness in each of the component and assembly areas.
• May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
• Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
• Develop manufacturing processes to apply to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
• Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Qualification:
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree and 16 years’ experience, or Master’s degree and 14 years’ experience
