We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:

Technical Design 3
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Tukwila, WA


• Skilled mechanical and structural designer, proficient with CATIA and assembly design.
• Familiar with company processes, design manuals and drawing release in a lab test environment (non-production, etc). Prefer lab test related background.
• Familiar with company fastener design, selection, specification, supersession, process specifications and standards.
• Familiar with Hi-LOK hardware and installation as well as sheet metal design.
• Complete understanding of computer aided design tools and systems (e.g. CATIA).
• Complete understanding of CATIA workbenches- drawing, GSD, product structure and libraries.
• Experienced with 3D modeling, 3D geometry, power copies, generating views, drawings, products and save management in CATIA.
• Experienced with company REDARS
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes in a lab environment.
• General knowledge of shop processes and practices in a lab environment.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently in a project environment under the direction of design engineers.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with technical experts as well as support team in the execution of the project goals.
• Intermediate skill with MS Excel
• Advanced skill with CATIA V5
• Advanced ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, assembly drawings, and technical manuals
• Familiarity with metal fabrication preferred
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
