Representative Program & Production Control

Representative Program & Production Control
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Sterling Heights, MI

• Analyze manual purchase requisitions for proper approvals, quality codes, and data packages.
• Determine Planning Path forward based upon MRP data.
• Minimize excess inventory by analyzing MRP planning across multiple locations, and facilitate material transfers between physical locations. Transfer for projects to align inventory to requirements as needed.
• Oracle master schedule and plan independent and dependent demands.
• Verify requirements using various systems including Oracle (MRP), TipQA, Teamcenter, etc.
• Plan, report, and analyze. Create charts of pertinent data for management review.
• Interface with procurement, Engineering, SE, and Production teams as required.
• Work with Bill of Material representatives to resolve planning issues.
• Assist material requisition requesters on creating requisitions and providing requisition status.
• Ensure proper labor charging for working a requisition.
• Coordinate planning activities across multiple plant locations.
• Some travel required

• Required – able to obtain clearance as needed.
• Solid communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-directed, follows up, attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work in a team environment
• Strong time management skills; able to work under pressure/deadlines
• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• MRP planning knowledge (discrete and inventory based) and analysis experience highly desirable
• Oracle MRP Planning & ERP knowledge and experience highly desirable

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required, in Business, Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in any of the following areas preferred:
o Manufacturing (all areas)
o Supply Chain or Materials Management (all areas)
o Process or Industrial Engineering
