Aerospace Stress Analyst Secret Cleared (549)

Description:
*This is a 1 year or more contract position located in Orlando*
*Must have an Active Secret Clearance in order to start position*



We are seeking a contract stress analyst or structures engineer who will be working on flight vehicle (fixed or rotary wing) on aircraft and/or missiles applying knowledge to dynamics and stress of flight of different materials upon vehicles. Models will be put into simulations, and need top pass physical as well as environmental conditions analysis, using linear/non-linear methods.



Candidate will be testing, analyzing, and modifying existing aircraft and integrating modified components into airborne vehicles. The applicant will be a lead analyst, and as such, in addition to normal stress analysis duties, will also will analyze and write documentation using military specifications, internal structural manuals, developing working models, etc.



Required:
*Current Active Secret Clearance
*5+ years’ experience in stress/structural analysis of aircraft using MSC or Nastran
*Good FEA, FEMAP, IDEAS (or NX/ANSA) skills.
*Knowledge of hand analysis.
*4 year Mechanical Engineering degree
